Seal groups

Hydraulic piston seals Hydraulic piston seals for cylinders and systems where working chambers must be separated and stable pressure operation maintained. Hydraulic rod seals Hydraulic rod seals protecting the system from medium leakage on the extending rod side. Wipers Wipers protecting cylinders from dust, water, mud and particles carried in by the moving rod. Guide rings Guide rings for carrying side loads, stabilizing the piston or rod and protecting mating surfaces. Guide tapes Guide tapes for cutting piston and rod guide rings in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Sealing cords Rubber, silicone and PTFE sealing cords for static joints, covers, flaps, hatches and non-standard gaskets. Static seals Static seals for fixed joints, flanges, covers, fittings and grooves without working motion. What is included in standard seals?

This group includes, among others, O-rings, piston and rod seals, wipers, guide and support rings, static seals and solutions for rotary shafts and fittings.

Can a seal be selected without a catalogue number?

Yes. In many cases dimensions of the groove, a profile photo or worn part are sufficient. Information about the medium, temperature, pressure and type of operation is also helpful.

When to choose a standard or a CNC-turned seal?

Choose a standard when an available profile and dimension fit the application. CNC turning is better for atypical dimensions, urgent repairs, modernizations or when a standard profile does not solve the problem.

Does one sealing material fit every application?

No. Material is selected based on medium, temperature, pressure, speed of motion and working environment. Therefore, provide operating conditions in an inquiry, not just dimensions.
