Which file is best to send for quoting a CNC-cut gasket?

The best is a DXF or DWG file with the component contour. If no file is available, you can send a drawing, a sketch with dimensions, a photo or a sample gasket.

Which materials can flat gaskets be cut from?

Commonly used materials include rubber sheets NBR, EPDM and FKM, PTFE, graphite and engineering plastics. Material is selected based on the medium, temperature, compression and operating environment.

Is CNC cutting suitable for short runs?

Yes. CNC cutting is particularly practical for short runs, maintenance and non-standard shapes where preparing a dedicated die is not economical.

Can a gasket be made from an old sample?

Yes, but for a worn item it is advisable to confirm key mounting dimensions. An old gasket may be stretched, deformed or incomplete.
