CNC static seal cross-sections

Static profiles for joints without operational movement or with minimal movement.

Profile applications

  • Sealing of stationary joints, covers, housings and flanges
  • Repairs, upgrades, prototypes and small to medium series production
  • Section selection based on housing dimensions, movement, medium and operating parameters

Information to confirm

  • Profile code from the catalog or a photo of a similar cross-section
  • Diameters, housing width and available installation space
  • Temperature, pressure, medium, movement speed and expected quantity

Technical selection

Data needed for inquiry

If you do not have complete data, send a photo of the part, groove dimensions or operating conditions. We will help determine the missing parameters.

  1. profile code or a photo of the current cross-section
  2. housing dimensions and mating part measurements
  3. type of movement, medium, temperature, pressure and speed
  4. quantity and whether it is for repair, prototype or series production

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can the selected cross-section be adapted to a non-standard housing?

Yes. In CNC production the profile geometry can be adjusted to a specific housing, provided the operating conditions and chosen material allow it.

Is the profile code alone sufficient to place an order?

The profile code is very helpful, but dimensions, material or operating parameters and the quantity are also required for a quote.
