Vulcanization is a good choice for non-standard shapes, rubber-to-metal parts, repeat series and when a specific rubber compound must be selected for operating conditions.

Is a mold required to produce a rubber product?

For many repeat parts tooling or a mold is required. Its scope depends on geometry, quantity and required dimensional repeatability.

Can a rubber part be made based on an old sample?

Yes. A sample helps reproduce the geometry, but it is also useful to provide operating conditions, material, hardness and quantity. A worn part may be deformed, so measurements must be verified.

How to select a rubber compound for vulcanization?

The compound is selected based on the medium, temperature, loads, contact with oil or water, aging resistance and required hardness. In an inquiry, it is best to describe the part's operating conditions.
